profile

Scottish-born Campbell Walsh first took to the water when he was just eight years old and joined his canoeing club aged 11.

He’s no stranger to the Olympic Games, having won a silver medal at the Athens 2004 Games in 2004, and has also enjoyed world and european success, including the title of european champion in 2008.

At 33, he’s one of the older members of the GB Canoe Slalom team, but he’s hoping to draw upon his vast experience to ensure his third Olympic Games are his best yet.
